Asprinio

There is much to be discovered, much character and originality in this ancient grape variety defined by Italian writer Mario Soldatiasa“littlebigwine”. Dry as no other grape in the world, it is trained up poplar trees up to a height of some 50 feet and can be found only in 22 different townships around the city of Aversa in northern Campania. Its low alcohol level make it strikingly modern in its drinkability and its hows much personality in the sparkling version. But our still version is a small gem of sobriety and elegant freshness
